Microblading with Oily Skin
There are many reasons that people are not great candidates for Microblading and oily skin is one of them. While Nicole doesn’t feel comfortable Microblading some with certain conditions, oily skin can be microbladed with certain precautions.
Why?
The microblading procedure requires pigments to be deposited underneath the skin and the pigments will have a harder time holding and healing with oily skin. The appeal of microblading is the “natural” look the strokes present, but with oily skin, the pigment may soften on the edges and blur. Another problem that oily skin may present is longevity. Pigments may not hold as long with oily skin and will need to be touched up more frequently.
Ultimately, it’s up to Nicole to decide whether you are a good candidate or not, during your consultation! Don’t worry ladies with oily skin – there are other brow solutions for you!
